BoAt Airdopes Prime 702 ANC

Based on reviewer feedback and standard boAt tuning, the Airdopes Prime 702 ANC offers a fun, V-shaped sound signature emphasizing a heavily boosted low-end. The custom-tuned 12mm dynamic drivers output a substantial bass response that will satisfy casual listeners and bass heads, though it slightly bleeds into the lower mids, muddying complex instrumental tracks. The addition of boAt Spatial Audio creates a noticeably wider soundstage for a cinematic feel, enhancing movie watching. Instrument separation is decent for the price segment but struggles at maximum volumes.

In real-world usage, the battery life is highly dependable. While marketed at 50 hours without ANC, continuous playback tests at 70% volume with Hybrid ANC turned on reveal approximately 5.5 to 6 hours on the earbuds alone. This is slightly lower than the advertised specs but still sufficient for daily commuting. The case provides around four extra charges. The 10-minute ASAP charge is a lifesaver, delivering close to the promised 150 minutes of playback, making it extremely reliable for users on the go.

The 6-mic setup equipped with AI-ENx technology handles phone calls admirably. In quiet indoor environments, voice transmission is crystal clear with no echoing. When taken outdoors into noisy traffic or windy conditions, the algorithm effectively isolates the speaker's voice, aggressively suppressing the background clamor. While this aggressive ENC processing can occasionally make the voice sound slightly robotic or digitized during heavy ambient noise, it ensures the caller on the other end can understand every word without requesting repeats.

The ANC performance on the Airdopes Prime 702 ANC is a major highlight, offering up to 48dB of hybrid cancellation. During real-world testing in metro commutes, it effectively silences continuous low-frequency hums like AC units and engine rumbles, though sudden high-frequency sounds like horns still bleed through. The water resistance is rated at IPX5, which holds up perfectly against heavy sweat during gym sessions and light rain, offering great durability for an active lifestyle. The companion boAt Hearables App elevates the entire experience, providing an intuitive interface for EQ customization, firmware upgrades, and remapping touch controls to suit individual preferences. The touch panels themselves are responsive, minimizing accidental triggers when adjusting the earbuds. For gamers, turning on BEAST Mode drops the latency down to 50ms, which is noticeably tight. The audio-visual sync during fast-paced multiplayer games is mostly instantaneous, giving a competitive edge without the noticeable lag usually present in non-gaming TWS earbuds.
