BoAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC

The boAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC features a punchy sound signature tuned with 24-bit boAt Spatial Audio. The dynamic drivers deliver an immersive, theater-like experience with heavily boosted bass, making it a great pick for EDM and hip-hop tracks. While the mid-range and vocals remain reasonably clear at moderate volumes, pushing the volume to its maximum can slightly muddy the instrument separation. Overall, the Spatial Audio feature genuinely broadens the soundstage compared to standard budget earbuds, offering a lively and highly engaging listening session.

Boasting up to 50 hours of total playback time with ANC turned off, and around 35 hours with ANC on, the battery endurance is highly reliable. During real-world testing, the earbuds last around 6 to 7 hours continuously on a single charge. The standout feature here is the ASAP Charge functionality, where a brief 10-minute stint in the charging case yields up to 180 minutes of playback, virtually eliminating battery anxiety for long commuters and frequent travelers.

The earbuds are equipped with a Quad-Mic setup powered by AI-ENx technology, trained specifically for Indian noise profiles. According to YouTube reviews, the environmental noise cancellation works impressively well in suppressing typical street noise, traffic, and background chatter during calls. In quiet settings, the voice pickup is crisp and natural. Even outdoors, the caller's voice is distinctly isolated, although the aggressive AI processing might make it sound a bit robotic in extremely loud and windy environments.

The active noise cancellation on the boAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC is undeniably the main attraction, offering up to 46dB of Hybrid ANC. Reviewers confirm that it blocks out continuous low-frequency hums like AC units and engine drones incredibly well, outperforming standard ANC in this budget bracket. The IPX5 water and sweat resistance holds up flawlessly during heavy workout sessions or light rain, proving highly durable for active users. The boAt Hearables App support is a significant value addition, granting users a smooth interface for tweaking EQ settings, adjusting ANC and transparency modes, managing multi-device connections, and customizing the intuitive touch controls. Additionally, the earbuds feature convenient in-ear detection to auto-pause media. Speaking of gaming, the built-in BEAST Mode lowers latency to 60ms; while not completely lag-free for hardcore professional esports, it ensures that casual gamers experience instant audio-visual sync during fast-paced mobile games without noticeable delay.
