BoAt Airdopes Prime 512 ANC

The boAt Airdopes Prime 512 delivers a powerful and energetic audio experience driven by its robust 13mm dynamic drivers. Hand-on testing confirms that the earbuds heavily emphasize a punchy, deep bass response, which is a signature trait of boAt tuning. This makes them highly enjoyable for listening to hip-hop, EDM, and modern pop tracks. Adding to the immersion is the inclusion of boAt Spatial Audio, which significantly widens the soundstage to create a theater-like cinematic listening experience. While the heavy low-end can slightly overshadow delicate mid-range instruments at maximum volumes, the overall sound signature remains incredibly fun and engaging for casual listeners.

Battery performance is excellent, offering a massive 50 hours of total playback time with the 400mAh charging case. The earbuds themselves feature 35mAh batteries that can easily last up to 10 hours on a single charge under moderate usage. When you do eventually run out of power, the ASAP Charge technology via the Type-C port is a lifesaver. Just a quick 10-minute charge provides up to 180 minutes of continuous playback, meaning you will rarely find yourself without music during long commutes or sudden travel plans.

For phone calls, the Airdopes Prime 512 is equipped with a Quad-Mic setup powered by boAt's AI-ENx technology. During indoor use, voice pickup is natural, clear, and highly reliable for professional meetings. When taken outdoors into noisy environments like busy streets, the environmental noise cancellation algorithm works aggressively to isolate the speaker's voice while suppressing background clamor and wind. Though this heavy processing can sometimes make your voice sound slightly digitized in extreme traffic, it guarantees that the caller on the other end can understand every word without interruption.

It is very important to clarify that the boAt Airdopes Prime 512 does not feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC); it relies entirely on passive noise isolation, so you will still hear low-frequency rumbles like airplane engines. However, it compensates with an array of premium smart features. The standout addition is the intuitive Volume Swipe Control right on the earbuds, allowing users to adjust the volume with a simple swipe without ever touching their phone. Furthermore, the Multipoint Connectivity allows you to seamlessly connect and switch between two devices, such as a laptop and a smartphone. The earbuds boast an IPX4 water and sweat resistance rating, making them perfectly capable of surviving intense gym workouts and light splashes. The boAt Hearables companion app unlocks a wealth of customization, including EQ tweaks and control mapping. For gamers, the dedicated BEAST Mode drops latency down to a highly responsive 50ms, ensuring near-instantaneous audio-visual sync for fast-paced mobile games. The latest Bluetooth v6.1 ensures a rock-solid, stable connection.
