BoAt Airdopes Prime 412

The boAt Airdopes Prime 412 is equipped with dual 11mm dynamic drivers, delivering boAt's Signature Sound. Real-world testing reveals a bass-heavy, V-shaped sound signature that caters well to casual listeners and bass enthusiasts. The low-end is punchy and deep, making it great for EDM and hip-hop tracks, though the mid-range and vocals can occasionally feel slightly recessed at maximum volume. For its budget price segment, it offers a surprisingly lively and engaging audio experience with decent instrument separation.

Battery life is a strong suit for the Airdopes Prime 412, offering a massive 50 hours of total playtime on a single charge of the 470mAh case. In real-world usage at 70% volume, the earbuds easily last around 7 to 8 hours continuously. The ASAP Charge feature is highly convenient, providing a staggering 240 minutes of playback with just a 10-minute quick charge, virtually eliminating any battery anxiety for daily commuters and travelers.

Featuring a Quad-Mic setup with AI-ENx technology, the earbuds handle phone calls impressively well for this price bracket. In quiet indoor environments, voice transmission is clear and natural. When tested outdoors in noisy conditions, the AI-ENx algorithm effectively suppresses ambient sounds like traffic and wind. While this aggressive processing can sometimes make the user's voice sound slightly digitized in extremely loud environments, it ensures the caller on the other end can hear every word without needing to ask for repeats.

Since the Airdopes Prime 412 lacks Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), it relies purely on passive noise isolation for audio playback, meaning continuous low-frequency hums like AC units and engine rumbles will still bleed through. On the durability front, the earbuds feature an IPX5 water and sweat resistance rating, holding up perfectly during intense gym sessions or light drizzles without any issues. The integration with the boAt Hearables companion app is a huge plus, offering a seamless interface to check battery status, adjust settings, and customize touch controls. The touch panels themselves are highly responsive, although prone to occasional accidental inputs when adjusting the fit. Gamers will appreciate the BEAST Mode, which drops latency down to 60ms, providing near-instantaneous audio-visual sync for casual mobile gaming, though hardcore competitive players might notice a slight delay. Additionally, the inclusion of Multipoint Connectivity and Google Fast Pair elevates the overall user convenience significantly.
