Overall Design of Asus TUF F17 Gaming Laptop:

The charger is relatively lightweight, but really if that’s your concern with the charger, then you should fall in love with the laptop’s 2.6 kilograms of weight.

I mean, it’s not bad for the thing it packs with that giant 17.3-inch screen on it. Overall there are no major complaints about it. It has a noisy matte finish on the top panel with those nice looking vents, and the copper heatsink wafers in the back look decent.

The edgy design also looks nice; the outer lid of the laptop is supported by a thick metal plate which makes it feel very sturdy. The areas around the keyboard and the base is plastic, though. Also, the material is quite a fingerprint marks free.

The sides have a brushed plastic feel. The bezels of the screens do have a decent thickness, with the bottom bezel being the thickest. There is a honeycomb design for the base with so many vents.

Detailed Information of Asus TUF F17 Gaming Laptop:

This variant comes with a powerful core i7 11800H  chip on it with eight cores, which is crucial for the tasks that need CPU rendering and stuff like that; it also has an 8 x 2, 16 GB DDR Ram. You can also look for the best 16 GB laptops under 1 Lakh.

Modules at 3200MHz from micron, the laptop can support up to 32 Gb of total memory. There are two slots, and it also comes with an RTX 3050 Ti, 4 Gb GPU. It comes with a 512 Gb SSD (expandable). There are many ports around the laptop; the right side is entirely vacant, making only the USB port feel lonely.

The full HD screen panel will obviously feel smooth. The laptop has average brightness levels, which are more than sufficient for indoor usage, and not for outdoor usage as the screen has a matte finish so that light reflections would be the least of your concerns. The viewing angles of the screens is excellent; the colours and contrast were ideal.

Performance and Experience of Asus TUF F17 Gaming Laptop:

I don’t feel the screen is a significant issue here.  There was apparent backlight bleeding on the panel, but there were no visible colour tints on the net; however, the WASD key covers are translucent.

So you can look inside them and get to know them better, the touchpad keys felt quite sturdy, the speakers’ sound is quite ok, the webcam has usage indicator too, the armoury crate has a friendly UI overall fan speeds etc. of your CPU and GPU.

You can also adjust the keyboard’s lighting, and if it is strobing or breathing and has an excellent resource monitor, I will recommend this laptop for gaming or other kinds of workloads.

Asus TUF F17 Gaming Laptop: Should you Buy this?

The games and the workloads on the laptop are more of a GPU dependent task rather than being dependent on the CPU. As the power throttle and the incapability of the laptop to keep the CPU temperatures under 90 degrees and extreme workloads deviates my feeling towards recommending it wholeheartedly.
